out-clipart-shoutoutgator copyPeriodically, I will share good news with you. Today, I’m especially thrilled to tell you about two up and coming authors.

2016 is the year for Karen Miller, who writes under the name Karen Marcam. She is a RWA Golden Heart finalist and award Unknownwinning author of historical romance. Her heroines are strong women of the west and her heroes are men who can stand toe-to-toe with them. She won the 2016 Chicago North Fire and Ice award for best historical and she has reached the finals in several contests including the Fab Five of her local chapter, WisRWA. You can learn more about her and her writing at www.karenmarcam.com.

I’ve been eagerly awaiting the publication of Providence by Barbara M. Britton. Her book was one of the featured books in Pelican Book Group’s ad in the June 2016 of RWR, the Britt-068amagazine for RWA, and Providence will be available October, 2016. My friend, Wanda Bradley, is looking forward to this book since the day I told her about it. Barb writes inspirational romance and creates fictional characters based on Biblical facts. She, too, is an award-winning author, having won the Windy City Inspirational category and other prestigious awards. You can read more about her at www.barbarambritton.com.

I’ve known both of these women for close to a decade and I can vouch for the attention to detail and their commitment to their craft. I hope you’ll check out their websites and follow their careers. I know I will!

And don’t forget to pre-order Barb’s book, Providence. I feel confident you will be able to read Saving Columbine Ranch by Karen within the next year.
